Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is an Spanish flamenco and pop artist. From the time she was a teenager, Rosalia has explored the fringes of both pop and traditional music. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as delicate and sharp, yet featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. The album earned her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami came out as her third album that was full-length. It featured songs written in collaboration with other musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. In March 2022 the set began to be released in conjunction with Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia did her solo performance on the show for the very first time on the show. In addition to winning three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
